Main duties of the job

As a Lead SACT Nurse with us, you'll play a pivotal role in being responsible for the safe, effective, and high-quality delivery of systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT). As the clinical lead for the SACT unit you will oversee daily operations, ensure adherence to best practise guidelines, and lead a team of senior SACT nurses to provide personalised, safe, and compassionate care.This is a pivotal leadership role within the centres multidisciplinary team focused on delivering Clinical Excellence, optimising the patient experience, and maintaining high standards of compliance with national frameworks and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong nursing leadership with a focus on fostering a positive team culture that supports continuous improvement in patient safety and operational efficiency.
