Job Description

As the Manager, AP / AR Process Optimization & Reporting , you will report directly to the Director, Finance Shared Services and will be part of AIM’s Finance Shared Services Center (FSSC) at our head office in Montréal, Canada.

Your main responsibilities will be to lead process improvement initiatives in AIM’s order-to-cash and procure-to-pay functions. As well, to support the Finance Shared Services Center by building and maintaining reports and reporting tools.

  • Contribute to various types of transformational projects : process improvements, organizational changes, digital transformations, control design, etc.
  • Lead or participate in projects with cross-functional teams and collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization.
  • Be involved in all phases of a project life cycle including as-is analysis, target state design, gap analysis, stakeholder engagement, documentation, training and deployment, post go-live support & monitoring, etc.
  • Prepare various deliverables such as project plans, process maps in Visio, executive presentations, business policies, business requirements documents, large-scale communications, training material, etc.
  • Perform thorough assessments of identified improvement opportunities and root cause diagnostics.
  • Formulate data-driven recommendations that will bring optimal value to the business.
  • Leverage existing data warehouses to build reports, dashboards, and reporting tools for performance tracking, financial results monitoring, and facilitating operational activities.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration (finance, accounting or other), technology, or a similar field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
  • Experience in business process improvement design and delivery within an organization.
  • Good accounting and finance knowledge to understand financial impacts of current challenges and improvements solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a structured mindset.
  • Exceptional business sense and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong ownership of work, result-driven and high standards to work efficiently and deliver high sustainable value.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, rigor, and autonomy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
