As a Scheduler working in the Centre of Expertise in Alternative Projects (APEX) team at Pomerleau Construction, you will play a pivotal role driving collaboration as it relates to complex project designs.

Supporting on our large-scale building and infrastructure projects ranging from $ million to upwards of $1 billion you will have the opportunity provide guidance, support and assistance to ensure collaboration with our Project Managers and support consultants from concept through to construction.

What YOU Will Do

  • Assist the project team through baseline schedule development and maintenance.
  • Collaborate to keep schedules up to date and accurate while prioritizing work assessment analysis.
  • Analyze schedule data and variances to identify and troubleshoot key project issues.
  • Lead and support the project team with client schedule related meetings.
  • Effectively apply project-specific safety standards to promote Pomerleau’s health, safety and environmental standards, applicable OH&S acts, and regulations and codes with all employees and trade partners on the project.

What YOU Will Bring

  • 4+ years of scheduling experience in the construction industry.
  • A construction related certificate, diploma or degree.
  • Knowledge of construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, quality and cost control.
  • The ability to quickly identify schedule-related conflicts, identify possible causes, produce affective solutions, and collaboratively work with a large team to reach successful project completion.
  • Strong computer skills and previous experience with scheduling software, including Primavera 6.

Additional Assets Include :

  • You’ve worked on a variety of large-scale government projects.
  • Fluent in both official languages written and oral (English and French).
