We’re looking for an experienced Forestry Technician (Silviculture Surveyor) for our Southern Interior Woodlands Division. This can be a seasonal or permanent position. The Southern Interior Woodlands Team manages Tolko's tenure and fibre supply in the Southern Interior of British Columbia, covering an area of , hectares. We are dedicated to sustaining these areas to the benefit of all who live and work there.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

• Must be a registered Forest Professional of British Columbia (FPBC) and in good standing.
• Preference will be given to candidates with the FPBC Silviculture Accredited Surveyor (SAS) designation or equivalent experience conducting Regen Delay Surveys and Free Growing Declaration Surveys in BC.
• Has an unwavering commitment to safety.
• Proven communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and with a team.
• Is physically capable of performing field work at various locations across the Okanagan Timber Supply Area (TSA).
• A valid driver’s license and experience driving on forestry roads are required.
• Has experience with block/road layout and cruising is an asset.
• Has experience with the Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), GIS, and other computer applications.
