Position Overview
The primary role of this position is to work closely with engineers and senior technical staff to develop designs and drawings for the following building systems :
Power distribution including schematics and single line diagramsSecurity system and access control system coordinationAdditional responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :
Working closely with the Project Manager and other technical staff to provide clients with completed projects in a timely mannerMaintaining open lines of communication and coordinating work with the Project Manager, staff, and project team members outside of SELPrepare and track construction documentation (change orders, site instructions, shop drawings, RFI’s, etc.) with moderate oversightWorking with the project team to help resolve issues during constructionPerform site visits, as required, with direct supervisionParticipating in discussions with clients as requiredGood working knowledge of applicable building codes and standardsOperate with moderate oversight on typical design problems; seek advice and assistance from senior staff for deeper technical problemsRequired Skills
