Test Engineering/Technician – Cooling Technologies (FT)
Our Markham based client, is a dynamic and forward-thinking company specializing in cooling technologies for the food and beverage industries and dedicated to revolutionizing the Scrape Surface Heat Exchanger landscape.
They thrive on innovation, collaboration, and pushing the boundaries of what's possible. They are seeking a passionate Testing Engineer / Technician to join their mission to test and validate groundbreaking ideas.
Position Overview :
As a Testing Engineer / Technician, you will be at the forefront of our innovation efforts, leading the charge in testing and validating new ideas and concepts.
You will collaborate closely with our engineering and sales teams to conduct comprehensive tests, gather data, and document findings to drive informed decision-making.
You will also have the amazing opportunities for international travel, commissioning and testing at our international partners facilities.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead Testing Efforts : Take ownership of testing initiatives, from planning and execution to analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate with Engineering Team : Work closely with our engineering team to develop testing protocols and methodologies tailored to each innovation.
- Coordinate with Sales Team : Partner with our sales team to understand customer needs and feedback, incorporating insights into testing strategies.
- Conduct Comprehensive Tests : Execute various tests, including functional, performance, usability, and compatibility testing, to ensure the quality and reliability of new ideas, in the Markham facility, along with our customer sites.
- Document and Analyze Results : Document test processes, results, and observations meticulously, providing clear and concise reports to stakeholders.
- Iterate and Improve : Continuously refine testing procedures and methodologies based on feedback, lessons learned, and industry best practices.
- Stay Current with Industry Trends : Keep abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in testing methodologies and tools, applying relevant insights to our testing processes.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with test automation tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is preferred.
