Senior Scientist – Directed Evolution & Protein Design, Large Molecule Discovery at Amgen. Location: Amgen British Columbia site.
Lead enzyme engineering efforts to discover novel therapeutics for rare and genetic diseases. Apply directed molecular evolution and rational design, including computational approaches. Develop quantitative structure–function relationships to enhance generative AI capabilities for enzyme and protein design. Implement computational design to predict and prevent immunogenicity of enzymes and other proteins. Contribute to the interface between protein design, enzyme engineering, target discovery, and experimental immunology.
