Role Description :

This is a full-time commission based role for a Personal and Commercial Insurance Broker.

The Personal and Commercial Insurance Broker will be responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships, identifying and analyzing clients' insurance coverage needs, and advising clients on insurance policies and coverage options. The Personal and Commercial Insurance Broker will also work closely with insurance carriers and underwriters to negotiate the best insurance coverage and rates for clients, and will maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, trends, and products. The Personal and Commercial Insurance Broker will be located in Toronto, ON with flexibility for some remote work.

Qualifications :

• Strong sales and customer service skills
• Active R.I.B. Ontario licensed is a must
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Personal and Commercial Insurance products and coverage options
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Microsoft Word / Excel and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
• Experience working with insurance carriers and underwriters
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Post-secondary education in Business, Commerce, or a related field
• Bilingualism in English and another language is a plus
