Our client, a leader in the Insurance Industry is looking for a Database Administrator (DATABRICKS / SNOWFLAKE) for an initial 6 month contract that is likely to extend. Your tasks as the Database Administrator (DATABRICKS / SNOWFLAKE)

  • Provide a platform admin role on the data platform, such as Snowflake or / and Databricks
  • Developing and deploying solution of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Creating and executing the Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) pipelines
  • Investigates and fixes complex defects (for multiple smaller functional applications); develops and designs technical solutions for existing products or for enhancements to new / future releases.
  • Performs root cause analysis, interprets the results, and develops action plan and priorities for backlogs (identifying short- and long-term solutions); may lead implementation of plan
  • Leads development of requirements, understanding impact of architecture on overall solution.

    • The required qualifications of the Database Administrator (DATABRICKS / SNOWFLAKE)

  • Minimum of 5 years of Experience as a Database administrator (DATABRICKS / SNOWFLAKE)
  • Excellent experience in the Data Platform Management, such as Snowflake orand Databricks
  • Experience with AWS, (S3, Lambda, IAM)
  • Expertise with Terraform / Terraform Cloud
  • Jenkins
  • Github & Github Actions
  • Top notch communication skills both written and verbal
