The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Senior Broking and Insurer Relations professional to join their team in a fully remote capacity, with a preference for candidates based in Western Canada. The position is best suited to an experienced commercial insurance professional who enjoys complex placement work and senior insurer relationships, without a focus on career ladder progression. **Must be located in Western Canada**

Our client is a small, highly specialized commercial insurance brokerage operating in a niche segment of the market. The organization is known for its technical depth, strong insurer relationships, and tailored solutions for complex risks in the recreation, tourism, and adjacent sectors.

About You
You are a technically strong commercial insurance professional with deep experience in complex placements. You are comfortable working independently in a remote environment, value strong insurer relationships, and bring a steady, practical approach to your work. You are motivated by meaningful contribution rather than title progression and thrive in fast paced, renewal driven environments.

Necessary Qualifications Include

• 10–15 years of commercial insurance experience
• Extensive experience placing complex, multi insurer commercial programs
• Strong technical expertise in commercial property placements
• Established relationships with underwriting and insurer markets, including Lloyd’s
• Experience acting as a senior referral point for complex risks
• Strong understanding of insurer appetite, capacity, and placement strategy
• Professional insurance designations such as CIP, ACII, FCII, or equivalent are considered an asset
• Comfort working independently in a fully remote environment
