Carpenter

Job Description :

Currently looking for formwork carpenters / apprentice carpenters for sites in Tsawwassen, Delta, BC. On a day-to-day basis, you will meet with the superintendent to identify the focus for the day.

Attend a toolbox meeting in the morning to receive your tasks. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, completing tilt-up construction, forming panels, footings, slabs, retaining walls, and stairs, and completing various forms of form work.

Job Requirements :

• 2+ years of experience in construction as a Carpenter
• Experience with Concrete Formwork
• Posses their own tools and tool belt + PPE
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to get to all sites (car)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Work Environment

Busy industrial construction sites. Fast-paced environment. Work hours start at 7 am, with an 8-hour workday including a 15-minute break at 10 am and a 30-minute lunch break, wrapping up at 3 : 30 pm. Potential for overtime.
