What You’ll Do

Under the supervision of the regional sales manager, you will ensure the store runs smoothly, provide the best possible customer service, meet overall objectives, and maintain our corporate standards for customer service, sales, operational performance, and visual presentation. You must be familiar with effective recruiting techniques, provide meaningful training, and use staff development and evaluation tools to motivate your team and help them shine.

Responsibilities

• Sales: Optimize the performance and profitability of your store; train your team in customer service and product features; analyze sales results and implement solutions to boost sales; schedule employees based on performance and store traffic; set sales goals and share plans with the team; keep the regional manager informed on store tasks and activities.

• Demonstrate leadership and act as an inspirational role model at all times.
• Build a high-performance team—recruit, prepare and train the next generation of employees, and source the best candidates for various roles.
• Plan work schedules and manage absences/lateness; conduct performance evaluations for the entire store team; manage labour disputes and apply disciplinary actions as needed in accordance with the law and corporate policies.

MARKETING AND VISUAL PRESENTATION

• Master knowledge of all products and technical features.
• Work with your team to create an attractive store based on planograms.
• Monitor competitors and build a steady and loyal customer base by showcasing the brand image and building relationships.
• Develop an action plan to improve inventory management results; plan incoming orders and ensure visual displays are set up efficiently; maintain store and backstore cleanliness; collaborate with mall administration.

ADMINISTRATION

• Analyze reports to optimize productivity and sales.
• Open and close the store with the help of your managers.
• Manage all controllable expenses in the store efficiently.
• Collaborate with head office on projects and requests; apply policies and procedures of head office departments; perform other duties to support the team.
