The Opportunity
The Position
Tidewater Midstream and Infrastructure Ltd., with Local Union 431, have an immediate vacancy for a Red Seal Journeyman Pipefitter. This is a permanent position based in Drayton Valley, AB. The primary role of this position will be maintaining piping and related systems in support of the daily operations at the Brazeau River Complex. Shift rotation is 4-3 & 5-3, 9 hour days, rotating on call schedule. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring work is executed in a timely, safe, and effective manner consistent with corporate and site-specific policies, procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 5-10 years related experience in a gas processing facility or other related industry process facility.
A good general understanding of Maintenance practices and equipment.
A valid Red Seal Journeyman Pipefitter certification.
Gas certification Class A or B would be an asset.
A strong background in industrial piping systems including interpretation of construction drawings (P&ID’s, isometrics).
Basic computer skills with knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook. Maximo would be an asset.
Valid class 5 driver’s license.
