Job Title : Evening Warehouse Team Lead

Location : Dartmouth

Randstad, is currently recruiting for a dispatcher position on behalf of one of our clients in Halifax NS. This is a permanent role which will start ASAP.

Sunday to Thursday

Sunday : 3 : 00 PM 11 : 30 PM

Monday to Thursday : 4 : 00 PM 12 : 30

Responsibilities

• Oversee Daily Operations
• Direct and assign tasks to warehouse staff, including Material Handlers and Order Pickers.
• Ensure that orders are shipped, released, staged, and loaded accurately and efficiently.
• Implement routing changes and adapt schedules as needed to meet operational demands.
• Staff Management
• Manage attendance and timekeeping, including scheduling and follow-up.
• Review errors and follow up with staff to maintain accuracy standards.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth workflow and productivity.
• General Warehouse Duties
• Carry out additional duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience working in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively lead a team.
• Basic computer knowledge is required.
• Leadership experience and certifications such as Forklift, WHMIS, or TDG will be an asset.
