About the role

As a Full Stack Developer, reporting to the CTO, you are responsible for proactively driving the full development lifecycle of complex software using the Microsoft Azure tech stack.

You’re driven and looking to be an active member of a product team, not someone who waits to be told what to do and when to do it.

Our HQ is in Montreal, QC, but this is a remote role open to anyone across Canada.

What will your day look like?

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle :
• Analyze and review business requirements
• Write and review detailed software technical specifications
• Participate in architecture definition, documentation, and review
• Prepare estimates for the complete design, implementation, and testing of new features to support project planning
• Create and update design documentation throughout lifecycle and review designs of others
• Implement required software functionality meeting established requirements and specifications
• Create and execute unit test plans and review the plans of others
• Create and execute automated regression testing
• Aid in the resolution of customer support issues
• Serve as a catalyst for continuous improvement of product and processes :
• Proactively provide recommendations on improvements to product and / or processes to increase development efficiency and improve quality
• Ensure Adherence to Quality System :
• Adhere to established Quality Systems and design control procedures and practices

Do you have what it takes?

Key Requirements

• Recognized degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred (a combination of education and experience may be considered)
• Min. 3 years of experience developing with C# to create Azure server-less solutions
• Experience with creating containerized components and deploying them in Kubernetes environments
• Experience with full project life cycle from planning to product delivery
• Experience with any one of these : Azure DevOps, GitHub, or Bitbucket repositories and CI / CD integration
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Fluent in Agile and DevOps SDLCs
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
