Position description
The Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering invites applications for four 12-month Limited Term Appointment (LTA) faculty positions at the rank of Lecturer in the areas of Computer Science and / or Software Engineering.
The primary responsibility of the selected candidate is course delivery; however, they may be asked to supervise students’ project work, and contribute to Department and program administration, including the implementation of CEAB Graduate Attributes.
Limited-term Faculty members at Concordia are full-time faculty members whose primary duties include teaching and service, with no research obligations.
Qualifications and assetsCandidates should hold a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering. Membership in a Canadian professional engineering association, preferably in Quebec, is required.
Industrial experience will be a definite asset. The candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in diverse areas.

Concordia University is an English-language institution of higher learning at which the primary language of instruction and research is English.
Since this position supports academic functions of the university, proficiency in English is required. Working knowledge of French, including reading and grading student work in French, is an asset.
