Job Description
Elicit, analyze, validate, specify, verify, and manage the business needs (requirements) and
ensure requirements traceability across the project life cycle.
Capture the 'as-is' and 'to-be' states (e.g., document business processes, workflows, rules
etc.)
Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and solution teams, ensuring the changes,
ultimately align with the gorals and objectives.
Work with both the vendor(s) and the colleges on Transition to Operations.
Liaison with the Advanced Education Ministry resources.
Work closely with the Senior Business Analyst and Technical Lead.

Proficiency in gathering and defining business requirements through interviews, workshops, and surveys.
Strong analytical skills to assess and document the business needs.
Documentation Skills :
Experience in documenting 'as-is' and 'to-be' processes, workflows, and rules.
Familiarity with process mapping tools and methodologies.
Stakeholder Engagement :
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Ability to facilitate discussions and ensure alignment with business goals.
Project Management :
Understanding of project life cycles and the ability to manage requirements traceability throughout the project phases.
Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Vendor Collaboration :
Experience working with vendors and understanding of the vendor management process.
Ability to facilitate smooth transitions to operations.
Government Liaison :
Knowledge of the Ministry of Advanced Education's policies and procedures.
Experience working in a government or educational environment would be beneficial.
Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools, particularly Power BI.
Basic understanding of technical concepts related to SIS implementations.
Strong critical thinking skills to identify issues and propose solutions effectively.
Ability to work closely with a Senior Business Analyst and Technical Lead to support project objectives.
Willingness to collaborate in a remote work environment.
Understanding of change management principles to help facilitate smooth transitions for stakeholders.

Work Hours
The position is 100% remote, and it is expected that the consultant will work in alignment with the client's time zone to ensure effective collaboration and communication. Additionally, the resource must reside in Canada.
