Location is flexible, within Alberta, dependent on the successful applicant.
Reporting directly to the VP Finance & Controller, the Supervisor, FP&A leads the planning, forecasting, and management reporting cycle to drive performance and informed decision‑making across AFSC. Leveraging their experience with accounting principles and financial information, the role coordinates FP&A deliverables, ensures management reporting ties out to financial reports, and partners with business leaders to turn insights into actions.

What will you be responsible for?
Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting and budgeting cycles, ensuring accurate financial models, insightful variance analysis, and timely delivery of management reporting.
Lead and develop the FP&A team, including workload planning and performance management.
Partner with internal stakeholders to support strategic and operational decision‑making, providing scenario analyses, and make recommendations that align financial plans with organizational priorities.
Drive continuous improvement, including model enhancements, automation of reporting tools, and development of more robust analytical frameworks.

Qualifications
University degree ( Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field)
Professional accounting designation (CPA) preferred or working towards designation
Minimum 3 years leadership experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant finance experience (corporate finance, business support, management reporting; prior FP&A experience preferred)
