Automotive Sales Specialist

Reports to : Personal Lines Manager Summary : Responsible for quoting and sale of automobile and property insurance. Core Competencies Communication Energy Problem Solving Accountability and Dependability Ethics and Integrity Job Duties Quote and sell automobile and property insurance to clients while strictly following sales process and underwriting guidelines Advise and coach clients on what type of coverage / policy would best meet their needs Identify and make recommendations for additional products / services Provide front line underwriting Processing applications through insurer broker portals Invoicing new policies in broker management system Ensure policy documents are processed correctly Follow up on any outstanding items within allowable timeframe Outbound calling to existing Cal LeGrow Clients Requirements : High school diploma. A post-secondary diploma or degree will be an asset. Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role within the insurance industry. Valid property and casualty insurance representative license or the ability to promptly satisfy the requirements for licensing. ~ An industry professional designation such as CAIB or CIP will be an asset, or interest in professional development. Client-focused with excellent customer service and communication skills. Extremely well organized with excellent analytical skills. Collaborative team player with a positive and supportive attitude.
