How Youll Make An Impact
Within the Cyber Security Engineering job family you will be the operational backbone for AI security. You will monitor and defend AI/ML environments implementing specific detection and response mechanisms for threats targeting models and data integrity. This role involves day-to-day security operations log analysis alert triage and incident response for specialized AI infrastructure.
What Youll Do
- Serve as the operational backbone for AI security by monitoring and defending AI/ML environments against real-time threats.
- Apply AI-specific threat intelligence to stay ahead of emerging research and development risks in the machine learning space.
- Develop and implement custom detection rules within SIEM tools to identify threats targeting model and data integrity.
- Execute timely incident triage and root cause analysis in production environments to minimize the impact of security events.
- Perform day-to-day security operations including alert triage log analysis and incident response for specialized AI infrastructure.
The Experience You Bring
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Security Operations focused on monitoring and incident response.
- Experience with SIEM tools and developing custom detection rules for high-level infrastructure.
- Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and data pipeline structures.
- Ability to perform timely incident triage and root cause analysis in a production environment.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in IT or a related discipline.
- CISSP Security or relevant certifications.
- Prior experience in a cloud-native SecOps role.
- Familiarity with threat intelligence specific to AI research and development

Compensation and Benefits
Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Base compensation for this position in our Vancouver hub ranges from $95021 - $118776 CAD annually applicable bonus. Final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidates knowledge skills experience and geographic location.
