About the Role
Insight Global is seeking a Technical / Solution Architect to support enterprise system upgrades within a regulated pharmaceutical environment. The role will focus primarily on a LIMS (LabWare) technical upgrade, with additional support across SAP ECC, quality systems, and content management platforms.
This role partners closely with internal application teams and external vendors to assess the environment from a technical architecture perspective and support execution activities including system sizing, infrastructure planning, data conversion, integrations, and cutover planning.
The Architect will help ensure upgrades are delivered with minimal risk to manufacturing, quality, and shipping operations. This is a hands-on technical role, supplementing internal teams during project delivery while long-term system ownership remains internal.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Architecture & Delivery
- Assess the LIMS program from a technical architecture perspective
- Support system sizing, infrastructure considerations, and environment readiness
- Guide data conversion and cutover planning from a technical standpoint
- Ensure the upgrade is designed and executed in a way that is supportable long-term
LIMS & Enterprise Application Support
Provide technical support for a LabWare LIMS upgrade in a customized environmentWork closely with internal teams and external vendors supporting LIMSContribute to technical upgrades across enterprise platforms including :SAP ECC (including Sterling EBI Integrator, IAG / Segregation of Duties, service packs)QMS platforms (TrackWise)Content platforms (OpenText Content Server)Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as a technical liaison between :Internal functional application ownersTechnical teams and external partnersTranslate functional needs into technical considerations and vice versaPartner closely with the internal team, who will continue to own design post-implementationRisk, Stability & Improvement
