Position Description

Scott Springfield by Modine is a tier‑1 supplier that offers scalable air handling solutions for commercial and industrial customers across North America. SSM has garnered a hard‑earned reputation for customer service, quality and reliability. To support its growth and expansion, SSM is looking to add a Wrapper to the Production team.

Shift Details

This is an Afternoon Shift Position from 3 : 00 pm–1 : 30 am, Monday–Thursday. The role will be based at 2234 Portland St SE, Calgary, Alberta.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and proficiently use various power tools such as a drill, impact gun, grinder, and rivet gun.
• Accurately maintain inventories for all parts needed for the unit.
• Make the sub‑assemblies required in a timely manner to allow for efficient installation in units.
• Assist in preparing units for shrink wrap including but not limited to installing bird screens, access panels, gates and cardboard, labels and ladders.
• Prepare shrink wrap and tape and maintain the inventory of each.
• Operate and monitor shrink wrap equipment to ensure units are wrapped securely.
• Prepare “Ship Loose box” and ensure it is placed in units.
• Perform quality checks, inspect before and after wrapping to ensure standards are met.
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly safety inspections as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized area, including proper disposal of waste.
• Perform tasks assigned in a safe manner and in accordance with our Health & Safety Policies, JHA’s & SWP’s.
• Understand and follow all company policies and rules.
