Wash Plant Operator - RROX

Locally owned and operated, RROX Aggregates Ltd. is a Park Paving Ltd. affiliate and an industry leading producer of high-quality aggregates for the Edmonton market. Aggregate products are manufactured and transported via rail from aggregate reserves in north-central Alberta to the Edmonton market.

RROX Aggregates Ltd. is looking to hire two Wash Plant Operators. We are looking for individuals with strong familiarity with crushers and/or wash plants, screeners, conveyors, loaders and other associated aggregate and / or mobile heavy equipment.

These are seasonal positions with competitive wages.

The primary duties for this position will include, but are not limited to:

• Maintenance of the equipment being operated
• Controlling conveyors, panel boards, pumps, gauges, and dials to ensure maximum efficiency and consistency of materials being generated
• Maintain a clean and efficient washing operation and work environment

Requirements

• Experienced in a variety of equipment operations for crushing, and mining
• Ability to work independently
• Must be willing to work in adverse weather, overtime, out of town, and some weekends throughout the season
• Create and foster a positive work culture, and set clear expectations of crews for safety and production
• Must be able to communicate well with co-workers
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Willing to learn and take direction
• Follow and adhere to all the Company’s safety procedures and policies

Pay Scale $26 - $35 per hour
