Job description

Position : Financial Reporting and Consolidation AnalystLocation : Saint-HyacintheWe are seeking an enthusiastic Financial Reporting and Consolidation Analyst to join our corporate accounting team within a rapidly growing company. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with a team of accounting technicians. If you're looking to grow and deepen your skills, this is the ideal environment!- All this in a company located in Saint-Hyacinthe, a leading player in the food industry, where innovation and quality go hand in hand.Key Responsibilities : - Oversee the end-of-period process and ensure the timely progress of tasks across various internal stakeholders.- Perform periodic consolidation of controlled entities and investments, including intercompany elimination entries and consolidation adjustments.- Prepare periodic internal financial reports by entity, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness of information.- Actively engage in both interim and year-end audit processes.- Contribute to the preparation of full-year financial statements, including related notes.- Support the annual budgeting process by collaborating with department heads at the corporate headquarters.Required Qualifications : - CPA designation.- At least 3 years of experience in an accounting firm, combined with experience in a large corporate environment.- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial reporting.- Solid understanding of accounting standards (NCECF) and financial statement presentation, including related notes.- Familiarity with consolidation software (a plus).- Experience with SAP Business One (an advantage).If you're ready to take on a new challenge in a caring environment where your personal and professional development is a top priority, join us!
