The Opportunity :
This is a mid-level role that reports to the Digital Delivery Manager, Buildings. You will manage and coordinate the production and delivery of BIM projects, as well as the development, publication, distribution and enforcement of company BIM standards.
WSP's Buildings team engages in the design of transportation, healthcare, educational, commercial, residential, recreational and light industrial facilities, with a specialization in large and complex projects, sustainable developments, and projects utilizing Alternate Delivery methods including Public-Private Partnerships (P3).

What you can expect to do here :
Assist in the development and maintenance of company BIM standards, including but not limited to :
Model and Graphic Standards, Drawing Presentation and Model Quality, Data Management strategies, BIM Execution Plan, LOD, and other BIM related documents
Model Health and Coordination
Perform model checks; ensure compliance with general and project specific BIM standards are met on all BIM projects.
Act in a Lead or Subject Matter Expert capacity to assist the Project BIM Team at all design stages, from Schematic Design through to Construction.
Ensure projects have a defined BIM Execution Plan and champion fulfillment of the plan throughout the project's lifecycle.
Work with project teams to coordinate model set up, drawing packages, model coordination, and any other project requirements, including but not limited to : All Buildings disciplines (Mechanical. Electrical, Technology, Structural, Architectural); Internal and external teams; Other WSP business lines
Set up, maintenance, support and troubleshooting BIM projects and WSP hosted ACC / BIM360 project sites.
Ensure general and project specific BIM processes and workflows are communicated to the design team members.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, and other personnel to incorporate concepts and data into model and drawing packages.
Actively promote the usage of automation on BIM projects, mentor staff on available tools and workflows
What you will bring to WSP :
Minimum 5 years of experience in BIM project delivery and coordination, preference for candidates with experience in a leadership capacity
Technical College Diploma or University degree in Structural / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or Architectural considered an asset.
Experience in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, BIM360, and Autodesk Construction Cloud is required.
Experience in the Microsoft suite of tools (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams) is a must; PowerBI is an asset.
Experience in Dynamo, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Point Clouds and Reality is an asset.
Familiarity with interoperability between Revit and other discipline-specific software programs and tools
Understanding of ISO 19650 and other relevant industry BIM standards and classifications
Project set-up experience including the CDE, design models, and the preparation of construction documents in Revit while ensuring company BIM standards are adhered to.
Experience in 3D design and multi-discipline coordination, managing models and facilitating data exchanges.
Ability to interact with external entities (clients, owners, agencies) to interpret and understand desired BIM or Digital delivery requirements.
