Walvis Technologies - Financial / Office Admin Assistant
We are looking for a Financial / Office Administrative Assistant to manage our day‑to‑day office tasks. The resource must have the ability to perform multiple administrative and financial tasks as well as some ad‑hoc tasks that go beyond your day‑to‑day duties. You must be comfortable with interacting with clients directly and have strong communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Various ad‑hoc administrative tasks
- Reconciling daily bank transactions
- Managing employee time sheets
- Generating and managing monthly customer invoices
- Maintaining an organized filing structure of vendor invoices
- Monthly vendor statement reconciliation and invoice follow‑ups
- Invoice review and entry into the accounting system
- Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, participating in special projects, liaising with key stakeholders, or ad‑hoc analyses / projects as assigned
Education
Post‑Secondary Education in Accounting or Finance is considered an assetOther Requirements
Strong knowledge of accounting practices, policies and proceduresStrong analytical and QuickBooks Online skills (essential)Excellent team player capable of working both independently and in a team environmentDetail oriented and able to meet tight deadlinesStrong organizational skillsDemonstrated time management skills, ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demandsCan build positive working relationships both inside and outside of the finance teamKnowledge of SEO tools and concepts such as Google Analytics, Google Keyword Search Console would be considered an assetMust reference Job ID : 0328Officeadmin in your cover letter in order for the application to be consideredSeniority Level
