Based in the scenic landscapes of Newfoundland, Canada, our mission is to redefine the future of cybersecurity in the MedTech and industrial real-time monitoring sectors with advanced, lightweight solutions specifically tailored for wearable devices.Role OverviewMetaCrust is hiring a Cybersecurity Analyst for a 5-month contract. This role will support our Multi-Directional End-to-End Security architecture and contribute to the development of secure communication protocols for wearable medical and IOT systems.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in reviewing embedded device security architectures.Contribute to the design and documentation of device-specific secure communication protocols.Support threat modeling, protocol analysis, and risk assessments for medical & IoT devices.Collaborate with engineering and compliance teams to align security implementations with privacy, safety, and regulatory standards.Participate in ongoing improvements of MetaCrust’s operational security infrastructure.Required QualificationsBachelor's or Master’s degree (completed) in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity operations, cryptographic principles, or secure communication.Interest or experience in embedded systems, IoT, or medical device security is a strong asset.Familiarity with tools such as Wireshark, firmware analysis tools, or threat modeling platforms is a plus.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for learning in a dynamic startup environment.What MetaCrust OffersA hands-on opportunity to work on real-world challenges in embedded systems cybersecurity.Mentorship from experienced professionals in cybersecurity and embedded systems.Contributions that directly impact patient monitoring and healthcare data security.Flexible, remote-friendly work culture with autonomy and growth potential.Possibility of contract extension or a permanent role based on performance and company needs.How to ApplyPlease send your resume to : Deadline : April 18, 2025Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by April 25, 2025 for interviews.
