Security Concierge

Overview

As a Security Concierge, you’ll be responsible for assisting residents by providing information and services as needed. This role requires someone who is self‑motivated, outgoing, detail‑oriented, has great communication skills, and excellent organizational skills.

Shift Schedule : Saturday and Sunday, 12 : 00 am to 8 : 00 am

Site Location : Hamilton, ON

Compensation : $18.50 per hour

Your Responsibilities

• Identify and clarify residents’ needs and desires, answer questions, give directions and instructions.
• Remain calm under pressure and act quickly.
• Manage and screen messages.
• Schedule access for authorized vendors to provide services within units.
• Maintain guest privacy and organizational reputation by keeping information confidential.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks.
• Enhance department and organizational reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new requests and exploring opportunities to add value.
• Ensure all safety and access‑control procedures are followed and maintain a safe work environment.
• Provide protection to clients, residents and property; answer inquiries and direct as required.
• Observe floors and stairways, ensuring they are free of debris, obstructions and fire hazards; lock access doors to sensitive areas.
• Enforce client rules, regulations, municipal, provincial and federal laws, and assist police and medical staff when required.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, customers, contractors and visitors.
• Perform routine property patrols of all building levels, parking areas and perimeter; respond to emergencies and fire alarms.
• Follow up with daily documentation, occurrence logs, incident reports and front‑desk software as required.
• Follow all on‑site procedures : Employee Handbook, Training Checklist, Standing Orders, Client Policies and FirstService Residential Policies.

Physical Requirements

The work environment is normal office conditions at an on‑site community. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Hours beyond normal office hours will occur, including evenings, holidays and some weekends. Schedule is subject to change based on business needs.
