Mine Engineering Co-op Student
Join the dynamic Mine Technical Services (MTS) team as a Mine Engineering Co‑op student and gain hands‑on experience in Canada’s most unique mining environment. Working on a two‑week on / two‑week off FIFO rotation at the Ekati Diamond Mine, you will report directly to the Senior Engineer, Mine Technical Services. This is a 16‑month term position running from May 2026 to August 2027.

Position Overview
As a valued member of the MTS team, you will be exposed to a broad range of underground mining engineering functions, giving you an exceptional opportunity to build practical skills early in your career. Ekati provides opportunities to rotate through various technical areas, supporting or taking a lead role in Drill and Blast, Mine Planning, Ventilation and Pumping Design, and gaining exposure to equipment operation.

Additional Information
The Company provides travel to and from the Ekati mine site out of Calgary, Yellowknife and other northern fly points.
