Dozer/Loader Operator
Cutting Edge Landscaping is currently looking to fill Dozer / Loader Operator positions to keep our soil piles screened, tidy, and ready to load.

- Take direction from on site Foreman & Project Manager for daily tasks and goals on site
- Coordinate with project managers, trucking department, and subcontractors for site timelines, deliveries, obstacles, and inspection of completed work
- Recognize safe operating procedures and proper training on equipment
- Must be able to operate company trucks with and without trailers and demonstrate responsible driving
- Ability to safely operate a variety of equipment : Skid steers; with a variety of controls and attachmentsExcavatorDozerForkliftBackhoe / (Rubber tired hoe)LoaderSod stripperVarious power & hand tools
- Perform equipment maintenance and daily checks, ensure all equipment is in proper working order
- Have an attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Uphold our safety culture and safe work practices
- Complete required paperwork for our safety program and participates in weekly meetings
- Work is labour intensive and will be outdoors in all weather conditions
- Perform various tasks such as : Maintenance on equipment and trailersMinor mechanical repairs such as oil changes, filter changes, tire repairs, and fluid top upsRead and install landscape plans to specifications and scheduled timelinesGeneral understanding of grade stakes for drainage plansEffectively grade soils and clayLoading and chaining down equipment for proper load securement
- Heavy Equipment Operator; 3 years+
- Similar Heavy Equipment Operating Experience (Dozer, Loader, Excavator, Backhoe)
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Bend, rotate and stand for long periods of time
- Class 5 Driver’s Licence - Required
- CSTS-2020
- First Aid Certification
- Heavy Equipment Tickets Asset
- Steel Toed Boots
- Hard Hat
