Join Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge where our Finance team plays a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences. Were looking for an Accounting Generalist who is detail-oriented organized and passionate about supporting daily financial operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

What you will be doing :

• Provide professional friendly and consistent service to internal and external stakeholders
• Support daily accounting operations including accounts payable balance sheet reconciliations inventory control banking / cash management and credit & client billing
• Review and code invoices; match with purchase orders as needed
• Investigate and resolve vendor inquiries promptly
• Scan and submit invoices bank direct debits and related documents to the Centralized Accounting Service Delivery team
• Monitor Vendor Account Issue Log and ensure timely follow-up
• Prepare cheque runs and electronic payments following established controls
• Maintain self-cashiering machine transactions daily
• Prepare daily bank deposits
• Provide cashiering support to colleagues and retail tenants as needed
• Complete month-end close procedures including occasional extended hours
• Assist with daily and weekly Credit and Treasury tasks
• Support finance leadership with ad hoc projects and special assignments
• Adhere to all safety sanitation departmental policies and service standards
• Perform other duties as required

Visa Requirements :   Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
