We arecurrently looking to fill the following position :

Field Test Developer

Description :

As a Field Test Developer, you will be incharge of testing the functionality of our portable wireless base stationproducts. You will work with multiple wireless technology standards such as5G / NR, LTE, UMTS, and GSM and will help Octasic to constantly assess thequality and performance of our systems. Your daily work will consist ofexecuting a variety of tests (stationary or drive) designed to assess ourquality and performance. We will execute tests based on our Test Plans, as wellas specific ad-hoc testing guided by our engineering team, and your wirelessexperience will contribute to identifying and troubleshooting abnormalsituations.

You will be maintaining the lab and operationsat the facility.

Required skills :

RF / Wireless3GPP standards knowledge (CDMA is a plus)

Goodunderstanding of NAS, RRC, PHY for LTE, UMTS and 5G.

Properunderstanding of Radio Frequency fundamentals

Handson experience of Cell Selection and Mobility procedures Field Testing andvalidation.

Experiencewith Phone logging SW (TEMS Investigation, QXDM, Catcher, Shannon DM, orsimilar)

Experiencewith S&R CSS equipment is a plus.

Experiencewith RF Equipment (power amplifiers, power meters, antennas, etc.)

Knowledgeand practical understanding of Ethernet / IP networks and Windows and Linuxconfiguration.

Experienceon Creation and Execution of Test Plans (able to execute tests followingspecified test steps and protocols)

Goodlevel of scripting knowledge (Python, bash)

Friendlyand easygoing attitude, with problem-solving skills.

Mustpossess strong interpersonal, organization, and writing skills.

Mustbe able to work independently as well as on different projects simultaneouslyin a fast-paced environment.

Collaboratewith applicable technology teams to determine testing parameters.
