The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company.
This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and cold calling.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Have a creative and problem solving mentality, and open to taking risks and learning from failure.
- Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for lead generation and client acquisition.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the company.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the company’s products and services.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market feedback, and strategic insights to the management team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role, preferably in technology sales.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of sales principles, techniques, and methodologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales tools.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
