We are standardizing identity management on Okta and are looking for a talented Identity and Access Management Engineer to join our team. Responsibilities :

  • Lead the deployment of a large Okta environment to our user base.
  • Manage and maintain our identity and access management systems, primarily focusing on Okta and Microsoft Entra.
  • Implement and enforce identity and access management policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless integration of enterprise applications.
  • Maintain identity lifecycle management workflows covering onboarding, offboarding and job changes.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot identity management issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of identity and access management systems.
  • Provide technical support and training to internal teams on identity management best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in identity and access management.
  • Build a team to support the identity and access management systems.
  • Design, develop, test, implement, and integrate identity and access management frameworks, systems, and protocols
  • Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of IAM systems and data
  • Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance
  • Improve identity and access management solutions and systems for protection against evolving threats and efficiency
  • Coach other members of the organization on the best practices that should be followed in identity and access management

Essential Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in managing Okta and Microsoft Entra.
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing identity systems.
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management principles and best practices.
  • Experience with identity federation, single sign-on (SSO), and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently and think critically.
  • Nice to Have :

  • Experience with other identity management solutions such as Ping Identity or SailPoint but not essential.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to identity management.
  • Certifications in identity and access management (e.g., Okta Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified : Identity and Access Administrator Associate).
  • Relevant certifications such ISC SSCP
