You bring deep experience in scaling IT functions to meet the evolving needs of growing organizations, and you know how to balance operational excellence with long‑term vision.

You’re passionate about building high‑performing teams and enabling specialization across IT Support and IT Operations. You understand the importance of both frontline user support and robust infrastructure, and you know how to structure teams to deliver both effectively.

You’re comfortable providing on‑site leadership in our Toronto office, and you’re ready to guide the team through growth, change, and increasing complexity. You collaborate well across departments, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and empower Tech Ops leadership to focus on strategic initiatives that drive impact.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals including system administrators, technical support engineers, and network specialists. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching and feedback, and identify training opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
• Manage workload distribution, set priorities, and ensure team members have the resources needed to succeed. Foster a collaborative environment that promotes learning, knowledge sharing, and professional growth.
• Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business objectives and organizational goals. Oversee the planning, deployment, and maintenance of IT infrastructure including cloud‑based enterprise services, networks, security systems, and software applications.
• Manage vendor relationships and technology procurement processes. Ensure compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Lead small and large IT projects from conception through completion, including system upgrades, software implementations, and infrastructure and improvements. Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders across departments to understand requirements and ensure successful project delivery. Manage timelines, resources, and budgets while maintaining quality standards and minimizing business disruption.
• Oversee IT service delivery to ensure high availability, performance, and user satisfaction. Establish and monitor service level expectations and key performance indicators. Manage escalated technical issues and ensure timely resolution of critical problems. Implement and maintain IT service management processes including incident management, change control, and asset management.
