Scope

Are you passionate about vocal performance and enjoy teaching a variety of ages? Join the City of Surrey's Culture division and contribute to the growth and innovation of our arts community through development and instruction of performing arts courses and camps. The City of Surrey is looking for an enthusiastic and creative vocal instructor at Clayton Community Centre to instruct private and group vocal lessons in the community. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging performing arts professional.

Responsibilities

• Instructor lessons for a variety of ages and abilities, including preschool, children, youth, adults, and seniors.
• Deliver course content that fosters skill building and individual expression.
• Facilitate developmentally appropriate vocal classes that are engaging and accessible.
• Submit detailed lesson plans and supply lists for each program.
• Independently set up, take down, and maintain program space.
• Provide a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications
