The individual will also oversee the management of staff across various functions, including Finance, Office Administration, Contracting, and Security. This position is critical, as it manages a business unit that significantly impacts several other business units, ensuring that financial resources are allocated efficiently and strategically to support the organization's goals.The candidate will be responsible for addressing complex issues that require careful interpretation, analysis, and diagnosis. The ability to identify relevant information to develop effective solutions is essential, as recommendations will be made to ITnet leadership based on thorough evaluations. The role involves problem-solving within the framework of existing policies, principles, and standards, while also assessing the need for new policies and setting organizational goals. The ideal candidate will prepare actionable plans that focus on immediate and long-term objectives, ensuring results are achieved within a 3-6 month timeframe, while also maintaining a vision for the upcoming year. Flexibility in changing procedures or approaches as needed will be crucial to adapt to the dynamic nature of the work environment.What you will doFinance Function Leadership : Direct and manage the daily operations of the finance department, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial controls and expenditures.Ownership of the overall budgeting process including collaborating closely with other members of Senior Management team to design, prepare, communicate, and manage budget resources effectively.Oversee the accounting and contracting systems, ensuring compliance with proper accounting procedures and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end activities including maintaining information required for tax and audit purposes.Provides advice, guidance, detailed financial reporting and counsel to Senior Executives regarding accounting related activities and financial decisions and attends quarterly meetings to the Board of Directors.Performs financial analysis : Gathering, reviewing, building and assessing financial reports; correcting accounting errors, building and maintaining budgets and determining the cause(s) of month-month variances, acting as the lead contact for audit and tax requirements and liaise with KPMG as the first point of contact for financial requirements.Contracting Operations Management : Lead the contracting department to optimize customer and subcontractor satisfaction through effective management of contracting issues and resolutions, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to organizational standards.Contract Security Oversight : Serve as the Alternate Corporate Security Officer (A / CSO), ensuring compliance with CISD standards in all security functions. Assist in documentation for facility clearance renewals and inspections, collaborating with the Corporate Security Officer and KPMG Contract Security.Human Resources Administration : Administer HR programs that align with business strategy and employee needs, maintaining compliance with industry practices. Oversee the management of benefits, confidential employee files, facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes, and ensure completion of KPMG's annual compliance training requirements.Team Development and Collaboration : Foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement by collaborating with internal personnel.
