Streetlighting Maintenance Electrician

HighLine Electrical is currently looking for a Streetlighting Maintenance Electrician to add to our team. Requirements

Qualifications

• Possession of Journeyperson Red Seal ticket
• Have or willing to obtain Traffic Signal Tech designation
• Great communication skills
• Experience troubleshooting electrical circuits
• Ability to learn and use various technology and software systems
• Ability to adapt to changing policies and procedures

Job Duties

• Maintain Electrical Streetlighting and components (underground circuits, luminaires, drivers etc)
• Troubleshoot streetlights and cable faults
• Be part of our on-call rotation
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematic diagrams
• Understand Highway safety regulations or be willing to learn
• Experience pouring concrete is an asset
• Valid Class 3 Q endorsement license mandatory (will accept willingness to obtain)

Skills:

• Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
• Skilled in using electrical meter, meggar, and locator to troubleshoot circuit faults/issues
• Ability to build, maintain, and renovate electrical systems according to specifications
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and electrical codes
