Overview of the role :

Youll discover a stimulating atmosphere that fosters your professional growth in a clean and safe environment. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor this position is responsible for order picking replenishment and put away in a refrigerated warehouse.

Employment Type: Part-time 1-year contract with potential to transition to a full-time position.

Schedule: Afternoon shift (2:00 PM 10:30 PM) and Midnight shift (10:00 PM 6:30 AM)

Salary: $25.55/hr

How you will make contributions that matter:

• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures to ensure the highest quality product possible

• Must demonstrate teamwork co-operation responsibility initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision

• Ensures that safe conditions exist always within the work environment; will take appropriate action to protect the health and safety of employees and comply with all requirements as stated in the Health and Safety policy

• Accurately pick and assemble orders for shipment

• Load and unload delivery trucks using equipment safely and efficiently

• Receive incoming products and store them in designated areas

• Inspect freight for accuracy and report any damages or discrepancies

• Identify and dispose of damaged or leaking products

• Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and Power Jack

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic corrective actions

• Maintain cleanliness of the facility and perform general housekeeping duties

• Update cleaning logs and other required documentation daily

• Record shift data and support inventory tracking

• Assist with unplanned tasks and other duties as assigned

• Other duties as assigned

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

• Previous Material Handling experience is an asset

• Will hold or be prepared to complete forklift operator certification.

• Working knowledge of computers and related devices (SAP Maestro RF scanners etc).

• Demonstrate communication interpersonal analytical and organizational skills.

• Must be self-motivated results oriented and work well with minimal supervision.

• Strong team orientation.
