Responsibilities
- Operate a bender to fabricate reinforcing steel to required dimensions
- Operate a shearing machine to cut reinforcing steel bars to specific lengths.
- Operate an overhead crane to move, assemble, and select material to be fabricated or shipped.
- Unload trailers and store materials in storage bins.
- Assemble and load orders onto trailers for shipping.
- Adhere to safety measurements
- Assist other employees in any of the above tasks.
Qualifications
- Overtime hours may be required to meet operational demands.
- Must have a form of reliable transportation.
- Experience with power tools is an asset
- Basic math skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
