Reportingdirectly to the Recreation Facilities Coordinator, the Varsity Facility Leadfor Gymnasium and Arena will play a key role in the operational management andsupervision of our Athletic & Rec Facilities during the varsity season andvarsity events. This position will be required during evening and weekendhours, providing support in the NAIT Gymnasium and Arena to ensure the smoothfunctioning and safety of the facilities. You will contribute to the success ofvarsity sports teams, coaches, student-athletes, and spectators by maintaininghigh standards of cleanliness, organization, and customer service.

Successful candidates will have the ability to assessand problem-solve in complex situations through effective listening,consultation, and critical thinking skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysis a must to support facility operations and varsity events.
Understanding of facility management
Qualifications :
Completion of grade 12 or equivalent combination ofeducation & experience
Previous experience in facility management, preferablyin a sport or recreational environment
CPR Level C & AED Certifications
Valid class 5 driver’s license
Safe Spaces or EDI training is an asset
Applicants witheducation credentials earned outside of Canada should have their credentialsevaluated by World Education Services or the International QualificationsAssessment Service (IQAS).
Remuneration : $19.02– $24.74 per hour, plus 12% in lieu of statutory holidays and vacation pay. (Classification- Administrative Support II).
Thisposition is covered by the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE)Collective Agreement.
