We are looking for a mechanic to join our mechanical team in the Eastern Townships, in Bedford.
Mechanics will be called upon to
- Repair and maintain school buses;
- Perform road tests;
- Complete mechanical maintenance reports and work orders;
- Perform paint and finishing repairs;
- Follow-up on the Preventive Maintenance Program (PMP);
- Compile parts lists for repairs and keep inventory up to date;
- Monitor warranties;
- Issue parts release slips on work orders;
- Organize workshop (equipment, store);
- Research technical documentation;
- Clean work and wash areas;
- Install radio, camera and GPS equipment on a new vehicle;
- Detect mechanical problems;
- Any other related tasks.
Full-time daytime schedule Allowance for tools and boots Work uniform provided Ongoing training offered.
Job Type : Full-time, Permanent, h / week
Salary : Starting at $ / hr. According to experience
Requirements
- DEP in heavy vehicle mechanics or relevant experience;
- Knowledge of diesel mechanics;
- Knowledge of electric propulsion;
- Knowledge of Cummins, Wabco, Outlook and Allison software;
- Knowledge of hydraulic brakes.
- PEP card (an asset);
- Valid Canadian work permit.
