Structural Engineer

Daily, you will work in a team to complete:

The position is primarily for project office design mandates as well as technical support for heavy industry customers.
In collaboration with the engineering team and assigned technical resources, the engineer will be required to perform a combination of the following tasks, (but not limited to):

• Design concrete foundations
• Design steel and/or concrete structures
• Design handling and/or lifting systems
• Design and review temporary scaffolding
• Prepare lifting and/or handling plans
• Prepare technical documents
• Participate in the preparation of bids
• Participate in the preliminary design process
• Coordinate the engineering and drafting teams involved in these projects
• Provide in-plant and/or on-site technical support, mainly with our outsourcing and construction management teams
• Ensure that projects or works meet their objectives

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or other relevant discipline
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position
