We are currently seeking a full-time Medical Sciences Liaison supporting the Quebec & Atlantic regions to join our team!
The pay range for this role is $115,000.00 to $135,000.00.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) reports to the Director, Medical, in theThe MSL is a trained healthcare professional whose primary role is to act as aconduit of scientific information between the Company and the medicalcommunityThe MSL must remain current on clinical and scientific knowledge, and mustbe able to communicate complex medical and scientific concepts to a broadrange of audiencesThe MSL is responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships withresearchers and other thought leaders and providing scientific support forCompany products under the biopharmaceutical portfolio.The MSL must maintain scientific expertise and knowledge of clinical applications of companyproducts, medical treatment guidelines, and research methods.The MSL is responsible for conducting in-depth 1 : 1 medical scientificinteractions with thought leaders (KOLs); implementation scientific exchangemeetings & journal club discussions to gain insights on therapeutic area andrelated treatments.The MSL is also expected to collaborate with other departments as needed. In this capacity the MSL is expected to manage the territory for scientific activities & KOL engagements.Establishes and maintains scientific relationships with academic researchers,physicians and other clinicians to provide scientific support and ensure the safe and effective use of Company productsIs the advocate for their scientific community and KOLsAttends academic rounds, journal clubs, regional, national and international conferences to keep abreast with therapeutic indication and treatmentExecutes scientific exchange meetings, journal clubs, and scientific consultancy meetingsProvides appropriate scientific support to KOLs to ensure that accurate information related to company products are communicated in abstracts, presentations, papers and journal articles prepared by the researchersCarries out engagement with KOLs by providing fair balanced scientificinformationSupports research related activities such as non-registration studies, databaseanalysis, evidenced-based medicine, clinical policy, etc.Identifies areas where additional research is needed to support the safe and effective use of Company products. Provide support to Investigator InitiatedTrials in accordance with Company policies.Prepares educational materials and presentations to support internal and external training efforts related to Company products.Collaborates with Global Vigilance Department and Global Quality and Compliance Department with respect to product complaintsResponds to unsolicited requests for off label product information in accordance with Company policiesServes as a subject matter expert to both internal and external groups andpresent where needed for activities such as (but not limited to) sales training,journal clubs, scientific exchange meetings, ad boards, consultancy meetings,etc.Internally there is interaction with staff and management of all local and regional internal departments including but not limited to Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, and Quality and Vigilance as applicable as well as the Biosimilars business unitExternally there is interaction with health care practitioners, researchers, key opinion leaders and other stakeholdersQUALIFICATIONS
Ph.D., M.D., PharmD., or M.Sc. with extensive experience will be consideredMinimum of 2 years working experience in the therapeutic area of interestExperience working in the pharmaceutical industry is preferredMust be bilingual - fluent in English & French (spoken & written)MORE ABOUT US!
