Position Overview

This role involves maintaining cleanliness of the facility, including tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, floor stripping, waste handling, etc.

Experience and Education

Minimum one-year experience as a housekeeping cleaner in a healthcare or similar setting; training provided.

Grade 12 or equivalent.

Qualifications and Skills

Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards.

Ability to ensure resident safety.

Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including climbing stepladders.

High standards of cleanliness and service.

Effective communication skills in English.

Physical Requirements

Exposure to potentially hazardous materials and environments.

Ability to perform physical activities like bending, lifting, and walking.

This is a term position that may end earlier as per the collective agreement. A current satisfactory Criminal Records Check, Child and Adult Abuse Registry Checks are required.
