Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Shop Manager to lead a team of machinists in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in machining and management, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a team of five machinists, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Develop and manage production schedules to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Prepare quotes for machining services, analyzing costs to ensure competitive pricing while preserving profitability.
• Monitor and track operational budgets, providing insights on cost efficiency and identifying areas for improvement to maximize revenue.
• Continuously assess and improve machining processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource usage.
• Ensure that all operations adhere to safety regulations and best practices, promoting a safe work environment.
• Troubleshoot machining issues, provide technical direction, and implement solutions to enhance production capabilities.
• Oversee the maintenance and calibration of machinery, ensuring all tools are in excellent working condition.
