Job Summary

Coating Operators in Nisku, Alberta will be responsible for the internal coating of used tubulars and related goods. Work is physical and includes tasks such as cleaning, blasting, coating pipe, operating an overhead crane and related equipment.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Pipe handling
• Thread spray application
• Mixing / adding coating to system
• Overhead crane operation
• Equipment operation / set-up / adjustment
• Follow basic safety rules
• Report any accidents, incidents, near misses or hazards in the workplace
• Housekeeping
• Accountable to immediate supervisor to complete assigned job tasks in a safe manner
• Accountable for the safety of themselves and fellow co‑workers
• Accountable for ensuring trainees are complying with Safe Work requirements
• Authority to correct improper work habits of trainees
• Authority to stop assigned work activities if unsafe conditions exist
