The Opportunity
A hands‑on HR role for experienced practitioners in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, the Human Resources Coordinator supports frontline team members at the Speedvale facility in Guelph, Ontario. Reporting to the onsite HR Manager, this role provides HR coordination, supports HR programs, policies, and processes, and ensures alignment with company values.
This role requires an individual who can operate with high ownership, manage competing priorities, and build credibility with employees and supervisors through responsiveness, sound judgement, and strong follow‑through. The successful incumbent brings solid working knowledge of HR practices, contributes to employee relations activities, and maintains operational excellence.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for all HR inquiries, providing clear information and timely follow‑up.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date employee records in SAP, including job changes, wage updates, personnel information, and employment status.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to leaves of absence, benefits and pension programs, payroll / ADP, and HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure employee communications, forms, and resources are current and accessible to frontline team members.
- Maintain confidential paper and electronic personnel files.
- Administer bi‑weekly payroll in Kronos, ensuring accurate coding, approvals, and discrepancy resolution.
- Process payroll for third‑party contractors as required.
- Support payroll audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and timelines.
- Lead full‑cycle recruitment for frontline and temporary roles.
- Coordinate and facilitate new‑hire orientation and onboarding activities.
- Provide day‑to‑day support for employee relations matters, including investigations and documentation.
- Prepare employee correspondence and disciplinary documentation.
- Lead the attendance management program and maintain accurate trackers.
- Assist with HR metrics, reporting, and SAP data analysis.
- Coordinate annual employee training programs and compliance activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, communication, and coordination.
- Manage swipe card access program and provide plant employee engagement support.
- Support site reception and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Post‑secondary education in Human Resources or a related field (CHRP designation progress considered an asset).2–4 years of Human Resources experience, ideally in manufacturing or an operational environment.Demonstrated experience supporting HR operations, recruitment, payroll, and employee relations processes.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information professionally and confidentially.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and urgency.Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR systems (SAP, Kronos, or similar systems).Initiative, sound problem‑solving skills, and a collaborative, hands‑on approach.Benefits

Salary
Base Salary : $46,000 – $69,000 CAD annually.
