Job description

Job Title : Senior Technical Business Analyst / Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA)

Location : Hybrid (Vancouver, 3 days / week in office)

Contract : 6 months (Extension likely)

Hours : 40 / week

Status : Inc or T4

Overview :

This role focuses on POS integrations, requirements gathering, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to support new market openings and ensure smooth production operations.

Responsibilities :

Gather and document business and functional requirements for complex initiatives.
Map business processes and workflows.
Work with product managers and stakeholders to align project scope.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to drive alignment and delivery.
Assist with new store openings in international markets (legal, tax, user experience).
Support system design and integration with cloud technologies (AWS, API, Kafka).

Required Skills :

8-10 years of experience as a Systems / Business Analyst, 5+ years in IT.

3+ years of POS experience.

Strong knowledge of business processes in large-scale retail.

Experience with cloud technologies and integrations (AWS, API, Kafka).

Proven facilitation and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and analytical skills.

Preferred :

Retail and international market expansion experience.

Experience with JIRA, Confluence.
