We are retained on a Financial Controller role for a Canadian operation within a multinational organization. This is a hands‑on leadership position overseeing finance, accounting, payroll, HR administration, and IT coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
- Manage AR/AP, inventory costing, margin analysis, and cash flow
- Prepare monthly financial statements, budgets, and cost analysis
- Oversee federal/provincial tax remittances and statutory reporting
- Submit reporting to Statistics Canada and intercompany partners
- Serve as primary liaison for IT and systems coordination
Qualifications
- 10+ years of accounting experience
- Finance/Accounting credential
- Strong Canadian payroll, tax, and compliance knowledge
- Advanced Excel; ERP/HRIS experience
